Tara is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Washington, DC and Maryland with over 10 years of experience working with individuals and small businesses. She received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and both her MS in Accounting and MBA from Northeastern University. She spent several years in “Big 4” public accounting and has a wide range of experience that spans state and local, expatriate, and mid to high-net-worth taxation.
Passionate about wealth equality, Tara has partnered with several non-profits in the DMV to teach wealth literacy and financial management skills to both children and adults. She uses her love for teaching to explain complex tax topics to her clients in an easy-to-digest way.
When not working or volunteering, Tara can be found practicing calisthenics, teaching salsa classes, or hosting a game night. She lives in Silver Spring, MD and has a wonderful life.
